LIDEM is present at the INTERZUM, the world's fair leading international trade fair for the furniture supply industry and interior design.
LIDEM offers a wide variety of roll cutting or slitting machines as well as spreading, cutting and stacking machines for non-woven. These materials are used in production lines of facial masks and medical, sanitary or hospital equipment.
Slitting machines are specially useful in such processes that requiere slices of material. For this reason, having a slitting machine simplifies the procedures.
Spreading, cutting and stacking machines are used in such companies that need to make "sheets" of different sizes from rolls.
Both machines (roll slitting & spreading machines) are necessary for the manufacturing of products such as face masks, mouth covers, surgical gowns, caps, shoe covers, disposable sheets, pyjamas, etc.
The slitting machines are also used in the making of clothing for healthcare personnel and patients. The machines are able to cut non-woven to produce: isolation gowns, caps, shoe covers, bootees, medical jackets, surgical pajamas, lab coats.
The material used in the manufacturing of all these products is non-woven fabric. Its commercial name is Spunbond, Spunlace or Meltblown as well as composite materials such as SMS (spunbond + meltblown + spunbond).
All of them are made of hydrophobic non-woven polypropylene.
All these materials are able to be processed with our slitting machines, even those composed by different combinations of spunbond, spunlace and meltblown.
Our machines are also able to cut polyester, viscose or fiselline with bacterial filtration indexes (BFE) greater than 99%, among others.
The material cut in the video by the slitter is non-woven of different grammages, given that the machine is programmable and allows the customer to adapt it to different non-woven fabrics, such as spunblond, meltblown, felts, etc.
The machine shown in the video is suitable for cutting non-woven coils of up to 1.000 mm in diameter.
